Wayfarer Rudder GRP 21mm

Hi Ben I'm pretty sure the rudder does come with a hole for the downhaul but the rudder pivot hole is not drilled, I guess this is due to different stocks having different pivot hole positions. We are expecting new stock of them this week so I'll try and remember to check and let you know Regards David

Hi Sigurdur, Long and short rudders may be old or terminology we don't use, the rudder certainly isn't long as the wood version is possibly a long shape, the GRP rudder is the modern shape trying to get the best of both options. The 21mm will fit in an alloy stock or a wood stock manufactured by someone else may be. Regards David
