Hi PaulWe use Cordura on the knees which is the most robust material we know of. I guess we could put another layer of it on which will give you an extra layer to wear through. Or if you are spending so much time on your knees it could very well be worth looking into wearing knee pads, see the below linkhttp://www.tridentuk.com/gb/clothing/knee-pads.htmlWith knee pads you will have padding and protection and if you wear them out they are easy to replaceI hope that helpsDavid

Hi Sally Firstly I will mention that the dry launching trousers do not have a seal around the chest and in a capsize you are very likely to get water in through the top, how much water you get in depends on many things and some people are okay with this and others are not comfortable with the idea. If capsizing the boat is strong possibility it is probably worth looking at a drysuit.Your husband sounds like a large size and it may be possible to wear the suit with his dinghy boots if he can wear them with 2 pairs of (normal) socks. You don't have to wear socks under the suit but I would advise it as it does make it more comfortable and I normally advise buying boots a size bigger than normalI hope that helpsDavid

Hi I would recommend trying the Small because the XS will be too tight however if the Small is too long we can go down the route of made to measure Dry Launchers. To start with you might as well test the small first to see if that is suitable. Hope this helps. RegardsJake

Hi Donna and thanks for your enquiry.  I would recommend filling in a made to measure form and purchase the custom Dry Launchers.  follow the link to the made to measure form https://www.tridentuk.com/media/wysiwyg/knowlegdebase/trident-drysuits/Trident_Drysuit_MadeToMeasure.pdf You could also try the Medium Broad Launchers however from experience they would mostly be too long on the body and would result in not fitting correctly and become uncomfortable.  Hope this helpsJake

Hi Tony,  If you are relatively slim built I would recommend going for the XL if not I would go for the XXL. I am 6ft 3in and skinny, I fit into both sizes but there is a lot of excess material around the chest in the XXL.. We will happily exchange the Launchers for another size if the first ones you purchase do fit properly Regards Jake

Hi Nick A medium broad would be a good place to start as it looks like it'll fit but try it on and we can then take it from there Regards David

Hi Alison, So the 3D sock can fit a range of sizes as you pull the sock on so your toes are in the front and then any loose is pulled up around your ankle. The medium broad has a large sock which will fit upto size 11 and a colleague with size 3 feet has just tried one on and it still works, you could argue it's big and not ideal, but does the job. The small broad has medium socks which will fit up to size 8 or 9 You could order a custom suit and specify what seals you want or what size feet you want the seals to best fit Regards David
