Customer Questions
Hi SteveThe trailer weighs about 70kgs and the trolley 20kgs.The trolley is way nicer to move a boat about on and to launch and recover as the trolley doesn't have to go as deep/far in the water and the balance is so that you don't notice the weight. The trailer is more nose heavy to suit towing which makes it feel even heavier.I hope that helpsDavid
Hi TomYes it includes lighting and the board and the arms are removable to help loading and unloading the boatRegardsDavid
Hi JackThe trailer has 8inch wheels and sealed bearings however I would be very careful not to immerse the hub when they are warm as the sudden change in temperature could cause them to suck water in.Better going for a launching trolley which is much lighter and easier to handle plus you don't have to go so deep into the water to launch, then have a road base that the trolley sits on and does all the road work without worry of bearings getting wetRegardsDavid
Hi FritzYes you can use the trailer in Germany, it comes with it's EU registered papers and we have sent trailers to Germany in the past however to get a quote for shipping you will need to email us your address and phone number. You may also like to consider a Mirror combination trailer which is made up of a Mirror trolley and a vario 1 EU road base. This way the trolley is easier to handle on shore and launch and recover and the road part does not go in the water so your bearings will be safehttps://www.tridentuk.com/gb/trident-mirror-dinghy-launching-trolley-sailing-trtra115ltm.html https://www.tridentuk.com/gb/trident-vario-1-eu-dinghy-road-base-trailer-sailing-trtravrb1.html RegardsDavid
Hi John, the overall length of the Mirror Trailer is 3200mm, when a boat is sat on it the total length from the hitch to the transom is 3860mm. Many thanks David
Hi Mary We need a full address to quote for shipping Regards David
Hi David Standard UK tow balls have been 50mm for years now, 2 inch may be on old cars and these will work with many 50mm hitches that don't require a flat lip at the bottom to locate - usually ALKO caravan stabilisers. I think America may use the 2" Regards David
