The author Nick Craig is a champion of champions, having won the Endeavour Trophy a record six times. He has also won 28 National championships, 8 European championships and 9 World championships, in a variety of classes. He has achieved so much and yet is not a professional sailor - all of this has been done alongside a full-time job. He was awarded the YJA Yachtsman of the Year in 2011 and the Yachts & Yachting Amateur Sailor of the Year in 2013.
