Customer Questions
Hi Kevin Yes it can be used with a reefing system although some reefing systems may require an alteration to fit, so could do with knowing what you have to check. If you have a system to shorten your sail then a genoa would possibly be a better option as you can then shorten to a jib size or smaller. Just need to check you have a system that shortens your sail over a system that rolls the sail out the way when not needed, the jib will work with both Regards David

Hi Gordon Here is a link to our GP14 rope guide which is visible through the customer service menu if needed https://www.tridentuk.com/gb/kbase/gp14-dinghy-rope-guide.html GP14 cruising genoa made from Contender 5.4 Supercruise sail cloth, this full size genoa will add additional power and speed to a cruising boat but with an easier handle and durability from the firm finish fabric. Product description. Reinforced corner patches with nickel plated brass grommets Soft pvc optical grade window material for improved visibility Flexible stainless steel luff wire, sail bag. Note: The image is not a detailed scale drawing So the sail bag for this will be a square bag to flake the sail in Is what you describe as the masthead shackle the shackle on the main sail halyard? I would image this and most shackles on a GP14 to have a 5mm pin and be either pressed or forged Here is a link to the 5mm forged https://www.tridentuk.com/gb/5mm-stainless-steel-d-shackle.html Regards David
