Description
Extra wide dinghy trolley wheel which uses the same hub as the standard trolley wheel but is fitted with a larger tyre which helps carrying heavier boats and also eases the ride over rough ground and being wider helps over soft sand.
Although the tyre is only 2 inches wider it has a much square profile than a standard trolley wheel so offers much more support.
- 4 ply tyre 16x6.50-8 NHS (not for highway service)
- Max Load 620Lbs/280Kgs at 28 PSI/1.9 Bar
- 8 inch plastic rim (2.50Ax8)
- Overall diameter of tyre 16 inches
- Tyre width 6 inches
Fits:-
- 25mm /1 inch axle. with the bushes in making the hub 67mm wide
- 35mm/1 3/8 inch axle with the bushes knocked out making the hub 63mm wide
We fit these wheels to our range of heavy duty trolleys, you just need to knock the bushes out. They will work on to our webbing support and our standard trolleys as long as the boat supports aren't set too flat. If you are unsure just ask us.

Hi, The hubs have a plastic bush with a 26mm id and a 35mm od so you may be able to fit a bearing but we have no experience of using them in sand yachts. David

Hi MarkThe 6.50 measurement is possibly a measurement taken when the tyre is flat as inflated it's slightly less than 6 inches. Maybe the tyre treads out at 6.50 when under an amount of load?RegardsDavid
Hi Colin, yes the wider pneumatic wheels will fit your Wayfarer Trolley. The wheel itself (the red plastic bit) is the same as the standard pneumatic wheel but the tyre is 2 inches wider totalling 6 inch wide. Hope this helps.Jake
Hi, it depends on the geometry of your trolley. The inner hub is the same as the standard trolley wheel but the tyre profile is more square shaped. Nine times out of ten they do fit but if you send us a pic we could confirm. Many thanks

Hi Raj I would imagine they will fit just fine however you could probably work it out with a tape measure The hubs are 70mm wide and the tyres are 150mm wide and you will need more than 150mm gap for the wheels to fit between frame and mudguard of the roadbase Regards David
Hi Mike We have nothing that small. All I can think of is putting a 25mm steel tube over which has about 20mm internal diameter Regards David
