The Enterprise is a double-handed, hiking, Bermuda-rigged sailing dinghy. An international class, it is easily recognised by its distinctive blue sails, its double chined hull provides lively handling and excellent performance across a wide wind range. Measuring 13 feet 3 inches in length, the Enterprise was originally constructed from plywood with buoyancy bags, though modern versions are made from FRP with built-in buoyancy. Traditionally rigged with two sails – a mainsail and jib – it is often sailed with a jib stick to goosewing downwind. For handicap and non-class racing, it can also be rigged with a spinnaker.
