Choosing a mast support
Mast supports are not supplied as standard with trailers as some boats don’t need them and if they are required the mast support needs to suit the towing vehicle. The taller your vehicle the longer the mast support required to clear the vehicles roof.
To find out which support you need you can measure from the top of the tow ball to the height of the vehicle, add a little for clearance taking into account there will be an angle on the mast as it sits on the transom to the mast support, the taller the mast support the greater the angle.
