Description
Carbo AirBlocks are 60% stronger and 30% lighter than Harkens's classic blocks. The nylon resin side plates are densely packed with long-glass fibres for a compact block with a high strength-to-weight ratio.
The high-load 57mm Carbo has a broad working range. Use for main and jib sheets on centerboard and keelboats like Lightnings, Dragons, Solings, J/24s and for mainsheets systems on catamarans. The swivel shackle can be in two directions or left swivelling if preferred.
- The swivel pin can locked in front or side positions to prevent swivelling, or can be left to swivel freely.
- Durable stainless steel ratchet pawl.
- Eight-sided, Hardkote-anodised aluminium sheave.
- Delrin ball bearings for low friction.
